Heyy!
I've seen quite a few posts on this thread with some of you seeking advice with choosing degrees and universities/colleges - it's such a difficult decision, and I really struggled with this to. you'll probably be thinking about UCAS applications and uni a lot more now that As levels are over with.
To help you out I have written 2 posts about choosing a degree and tips with choosing the right uni for you. It's got some (hopefully!) helpful reflective questions, general tips and links to useful resources that may be able to help:
Choosing a Degree: https://universitywithaimz.blogspot....ree-how-i.html
What to look for in a University/ Department: https://universitywithaimz.blogspot....t-uni-and.html
Let me know if these were helpful at all, and remember that these are just general guidelines from personal experiences.

Very useful
To add, for subjects like engineering, it’s important to make sure your university course is accredited. For example, IMechE accredited mechanical engineering courses. If they’re not accredited, you may struggle to become a chartered engineer post-grad (CEng).
