I wouldn't have thought so unless you have a medical condition. :/
The examiners are their for you. If you need a pen. Ask them. If you need a drink.Ask them. If you need to go to the toilet. Ask them. They will escort you out. If you need the toilet, just go as it can cause issues if you don’t go.
Well i dont go even if we have a 3 hour paper. Going 3 times is not normal and the examiner might doubt you , that you are cheating. And this way you will also waste a lot of time. Their needs to be a medical condition

I don't have a medical condition. But it's just that I do get headaches if I don't drink enough water (considering that it's over 30 degree Celsius over here). Anyways I will try to cut down water a little bit.
If you are worried about this, you need to speak to the teachers/invigilators beforehand.

They will probably have some guidelines to refer to.

I tend to get very hungry if I have exams near lunch time. If I don't eat I could sometimes feel faint (once I actually fainted on a bus in a city centre, because I had skipped lunch. The entire bus had to be evacuated!) When I was sitting a final degree exam, the hunger pangs came upon me. My bag, with a snickers bar in it, was outside the exam room, and we weren't allowed food in the exam room . I asked the invigilator if I could nip outside to my bag, but was refused. They offered me a polo mint, but this wasn't enough. Therefore I had to leave the exam room to get my bar, and I couldn't go back in. At least it was the easiest paper and I had finished it. But I probably missed out on a bit of checking time.

How many times is it acceptable to pee during a 2.5 hour exam? Not drinking water causes headaches which I want to avoid. But at the same time, I don't want to spend too much time (and I also don't want to annoy the examiner). Is going 3 times acceptable?
In my school, you are allowed to leave the room for a break and you have to be monitored by a member of staff. In my English Literature exam I took 3 breaks and the time is given back to you at the end.

Some schools have different rules

Thanks I will talk to them.

This might sound obvious btw, but it's probably a good idea to drink and eat enough that you don't pass out or get a headache...but not so much that you desperately need the bathroom more than once an hour (not normal) If you're really worried you're going to need more than one bathroom break I suspect your best speaking to staff beforehand, but expect to have to justify it.

Just my opinion, but I strongly believe these exams are a test of maturity and sense as well as academics, Can you turn up on time, prepared, not break the rules and ideally neither arrive with a dehydration migraine or about to violently wet or crap yourself (it happens quite a lot, you'd be amazed how many teenagers think energy drinks are sensible exam prep)

Is that an inbetweeners reference?

Definitely don't go the energy drink route.

No I never got round to watching that, you mean the energy drink bit?

I was being a bit unfair actually, the last person i saw do this in an exam was actually an adult.

Yeah. Energy drink will probably break my concentration than aid it.
I think 3 times is a bit too much, maybe 2 at most.
A tip I have for you is to eat a pinch of salt. It decreases diuresis. Also, try to avoid having more than one cup of coffee before the exam
Idk if this is just because I have a separate room... but when I need to go to the toilet ... they will stop the time and continue it when I get back

If I drank an energy drink it would make me want to burp, which would be a major distraction all round! But the salt 🧂 solution sounds good. Why don’t you put this theory to the test, on a non exam day?
Sounds to me like there's an underlaying health issue. I'd talk to your GP, just to be safe.
