Faraday's law is simply a mathematical statement describing electromagnetic induction. Is says that the emf induced is directly proportional to the rate of change of flux linkage.

Lenz's just states that the direction of the induced emf is such that it opposes the change in magnetic flux which caused it.

Before you can understand these two statements, you really need to understand the basics of electromagnetics such as what magnetic flux is etc so make sure you understand all of this first.
