Photos of New Endcliffe Village Accomodation

Is there a place where i can find pictures of the new buildings and their interior? (Birchen, Stanage, Cratcliffe, etc.)

Also does anyone have any pictures they can have upload for me? and perhaps post on this...

Thanks,

Thomas.

I'll get round to sticking some of mine up later if I can find them.

heres a few, poor shots mostly coz its 4-5 in the morning and i couldn't be bothered to get decent lighting haha.
i have to say out living room/kitchen (espec the kitchen) are one of the bigger ones on site coz we are on the corner, there are some flats with quite small spaces in comparison. but then we do have 8 people.

EDIT: the hallway photo looks well dodgy, the hallways are really wide enough for two people to run past each other and not have to sidestep (as tried when do random "we dont watn to revise" timefilling things, also racgin computer chiars with people in them etc,, so dont be fooled by that photo.

we have two ovens and two fridges coz theres 8 of us. 6 people get one over 2 fridges, 10 people get 3 fridges and 2 ovens, deluxe flats of 3 get 1oven 1 fridge
(by fridge i mean fridge freezer)
wow thank you so much! if you could pictures of rooms up too id love it, but if its a bitt too much thats fine  maybe sneak a picture of someone else's room?

we like it, have to point out our flat is on the corner and so we've got one of the bigger living areas but their all pretty decent sizes anyway.

Aaah so you live in the flat with the parrots, I always wondered about them, how did you find them?

And I posted mine in the "show us your room" thread in the Student Accomodation one, but i'll post them here too, mainly cos i'm procrastinating :P

This is Froggatt G - 10 people!

we got them at freshers mania !

but theyve slowly been dying (well geting holes in them) only one is still alive. you know the one that was stuck the window facin the cycle apth that was the first ti die, and also we put it up with gaffa tape.
WARNING: if you put gaffa tape on a window and leave it for 6months, give yourself 2hours, a hairdryer, nail polish remover and elbow grease to get it all off the window haha
Saw them when looking round a few months ago. Very nice. Hope I'm with more people than less..

I'm the complete opposite. My ideal would be sharing with 2 vegans/vegetarians in one of those deluxe s/c rooms!

Hey there, I put something like that in my preferences since I am a vegan myself!! Perhaps we'll be in the same flat than, it'd be so much easier than having to explain to a whole bunch of people why I need seperate pots/pans or can't eat this or that. Of course I wouldn't mind non veggies, I just hope there's at least ONE!

You two should definitely familiarise yourself with Beanies, a vegetarian/vegan shop in Crookesmoor as soon as you get here. It is very good. :yy:

Yes, exactly! I put it in my preferences too, it'll be interesting to see if they actually take what you say in that bit on board. And it would be really nice not to be the token freak, you know?

I'm the same with my Veggie Fridays! - my and my Mom get so annoyed when people use our veggie dishes/etc. for non-veggie stuff on the other days of the week.
I wouldn't mind living with you two...

We should email the accommodation people and tell them we've done their job for them!
Haha, yeah!
Oo I'm a vegetarian :five:

I say more, as it's more likely I'll find people to get on with.

Thanks for the shop recommendation brak3n. Is it expensive though?

Nope, not really. Or definitely not if you just buy the in-season stuff.
Half the shop is loose fruit and veg divided into organic and non-organic stuff.
The other half is dried food stuffs, with one small freezer and one small fridge of food. Oh, and there's also a shelf section which has like vegan cosmetics on.
It's a very fun and friendly shop. Everyone is so stereotypically hippie that goes there. I live just round the corner and I can always tell the people headed there with their reusable bags and non-brand name clothing :p:
These pics are great! Thanks for putting them up.
Was wondering whether anyone had any more pics of the bathrooms at endcliffe they would like to share? I'm wondering about storage space.
