Of course it is. It’s good to let your emotions out as things can get really overwhelming. The amount of times i’ve cried this past week is ridiculous... It’s okay to cry.

Also you’ll get through it. This is just one hurdle you need to pick yourself back up from. Just push through.

There is certainly more pressure nowadays. 30 years ago it wasn't normal because most people left school to find work. Nowadays more than half of a level students go to uni and very few jobs are going to school leavers. Also leaving school just to work in a bottom job like shop assistant or waitress is also looked down upon, even though it is possible to work up the job ladder
