Can I use different case studies in my exam?

I dO AQA gcse geography and I was wondering if I can use different case studies to the ones I’ve studied in school. I know the ones in the revision guide a lot better, but my teacher said the examiner knows which ones we’ve done and won’t mark it if I use another one. Is this true or can I use other case studies?

Your teacher is lying, you can use other case studies.
I used half from my text book and half from what we were told in class. It just depends on what you remember the most and what suits the question the most.
put down what you remember the best!
