Hey guys, I'm currently doing my GCSE'S and I'm contemplating my choice regarding whether to do further maths in A level or not as I heard it's extremely hard to get an A*. My other subjects are Computer science and maths, and I want to do computer science in university. How hard is further maths and how does it differ from normal maths?

From my experience further maths is another level to just normal a level maths, the content is a massive jump from GCSE and a lot resembles typical year 1 university maths. However, if you are willing to work it can be very rewarding, if you find you enjoy maths and find GCSE relatively easier then its definitely worth considering! Hope this helps

Idk how you are gonna find it but with me all my life I've been really good at maths. In GCSE I got level 9 in maths and A^ (highest grade) in further maths with minimal revision. I revised a little for further maths gcse but for maths I was playing xbox with my friends the night before exams and in maths class, I barely did any work. For A level maths, im predicted an A* same with further maths. In maths, I don't revise it is really easy for me but further maths it is a whole different thing. I need to revise a lot and I'm not sure if I will achieve my A*.
