For me, I am going to use Maurizio Sarri, the Chelsea manager, as an inspiration.
He had four failed player tryouts in 1970s and 1980s. He went on to become a manager and managed plenty of Italian clubs in different tiers since 1990, but he failed to win a single major trophy, despite coming close to the Serie A title with Napoli twice, and he had 2 sackings in 2008 and 2010. He then went to Chelsea in 2018, and won the 2018/19 UEFA Europa League with them through an unbeaten campaign of 12-3-0, which is his first ever major trophy, after 29 years of trying.
I just got rejected for a programme at a flying school for some behaviour issues, but I will be learning from my mistakes, just like Sarri, and believe that the success will come one day, although it may take a long time.
Have you got any similar inspirations?
