So I'm trying to get out more/be more social so I decided to make a meet up group on the meetup app. now I'm panicking because I have to come up with an event and I cant think of anything, I didnt think being a group organiser would be hard but now I dont know....should I delete the group?

If it's just a first time meeting why not choose a pub or coffee shop? Give everyone a chance to meet and chat.

Yea, don't over think it. Anyone who responds is just looking for a friendship connection like you. You don't have to entertain them just make a suggestion. Find a nice coffee shop with a good ambiance and meet there the first time. Then ask for suggestions where you all might meet next.
A museum exhibition followed by another coffee, or go to the cinema followed by dinner etc. Don't delete it. I feel someone will be happy to have a meet up as well!
