So I'm applying to university later this year and in my end of year 12 exams that give me my predicted grades for next year I got A*BB (economics, physics and maths in that order). However I want to apply to a university that has an economics entrance requirement of A*AA. Can I still apply? Would they reject me? Should I not apply and look for unis with lower required grades? Also, what about AAA universities would I be able to get in there at least?

A lot of the kids in my sixth form went to their subject teacher and asked to predict them higher grades and most did you just have to ask or youll never get
Remember- the deadlines not till January for most courses so for those whose subject teachers said no your too far off, they worked their ass off to the deadline and then came back and said yk what since mocks I've been consistently getting As
Consistency- make sure you keep up that hard work over a long period of time, don't come to them with one A so make sure you ace every class test till then and you've got the summer to help so make use of that too
But you're only 1 grade off the grade you want so I cant see why they wont say no

You should definitely apply to that uni if that’s where you want to go, nothing wrong with high aspirations!
Have you tried talking to your referees/ tutors as they’re the ones that put your predicted grades in ucas.
