Pap smear and virgin

I got a letter for Pap smear but am 25 and a virgin do I need one? Or shall I just ignore it?

As a virgin your risk factors would be much lower, however other lifestyle choices can play a role and if there is a history of cancer in your family - it may still worth getting checked out.

You can contact the nurse or your doctor for advice based upon your circumstances.

I was told I didn't need one until a year after I became sexually active
