Just wondering if anyone can give a rough list of equipment I’ll need at the start of first year. I know the uni will probably provide a list closer to the time but I want to start budgetting and planning and working out what stuff I already own. Thanks.

A toolbox, a basic sewing kit, an apron/shirt (to protect your clothes from dye), tubs with lids and spoons for mixing/storing dyes/colours and rubber gloves...plus threads/yarns/fabric/buttons/beads/ribbons/trimmings etc that you like.
