1. do bacteria respire aerobically or anaerobically or both? (just checking)
2. is digestion and decomposition the same thing?
3. what are the products of aerobic decomposition that we need to know? i only know anaerobic produces methane or biogas

1. Bacteria can respire both aerobically and anaerobically, depending on the species.
2. Digestion is the process of breaking up large molecules into smaller ones so that they can be absorbed into the bloodstream and used by the body. Decomposition is the process of breaking down organic matter from a complex to a simpler form, mainly through the action of fungi and bacteria
3. The main products you can get from aerobic decomposition are CO2, H2O, NO3-, SO42-.
