BTEC to Medicine

Hello all,
I'm new here! I'm presently in year 11 and going on to do medical science (applied science) at college which is a BTEC.
Is it possible to become a doctor with a BTEC? I've been trying to research it but struggling to find answers for this.
I'm interested in going down at the medical 'route' i was first thinking of diagnostic radiography but heard this was a possibility. If anyone has any valuable links or information about this i'd love to hear, thanks

Thank you so much
Will definitely go through that now; going to contact my college about changing possibly to A-levels. Thanks again!

Another random question apologies, but I assume you can still become a doctor even with medical conditions? (not wheelchair-bound)

I'm not entirely sure: cross-fused kidneys (S shape) / spinal curve at the base of the spine and I'm going to be having an ileostomy in the summer holidays. The only one I wasn't sure about is the ileostomy because of possible leakages etc
