Not trusting parents

Hi there, my name is James. In September of this year, I am moving away from home to start an apprenticeship in railway engineering, which I am so excited about, because it's what I have always wanted to do. However, I have some major worries, not within myself or my capability, but in others. When I was 3 years old, I was diagnosed with asperger syndrome, in which I had additional help and support through school. I'm now 19, and am just like a neurotypical person, I love to socialise, and I love what I'm passionate about. Unfortunately, I never had any friends through secondary school, and I don't have any at the moment, I do feel lonely and isolated because of this. I also took two different types of medication to treat anxiety and OCD, which I am now cured of. My worry is thus: I feel that because of my aspergers, and past mental health difficulties, that my parents and other family members can cancel my apprenticeship contract and stop me going, I don't trust them at all, and usually keep myself to myself at home, I feel they are always talking about me behind my back, making plans etc. As a 19 year old man, can my parents or any other family members stop me from doing my apprenticeship? Or is that absured to think that? Thank you.
If they truly wanted to they could have an influence my talking to the apprenticeship company. But at 19 years old I don’t think it’s in their interest or yours. I recommend talking to them about how you’re feeling because I’m sure your parents will just want the best for you, but you sound very confident with what you want so I don’t think you should worry!
