Need help in this periodic sequence question

So the sequence is 3 , 0, 1.5 and then it repeats

Apparently for part a in the marking scheme they do 33(4.5) +3 , where did 33 come from ? I understand that maybe because 3 values are getting repeated they would do 100/3 but that doesn’t exactly give you 33,

I also don’t get part b at all, They just multiplied our answer in a by 2

Given 100 terms you will have 99 terms + the100th term i.e. 33 x (the sum of three terms) + 100th term.
