how grades are decided by boundaries Watch

what i mean is, say for example a student gets 71/100 for an exam, but the boundaries say 72/100 is needed for a 9 while 58/100 will be an 8. its closer to the higher grade so would they round it up? or keep it as the lower grade?

if you get 71, you'll get an 8

58 is the MINIMUM for a grade 8 in this scenario, 72 is the MINIMUM for a grade 9
