You don't need a receipt, only proof of purchase, so if you used your card then you should be able to use this. Otherwise it would really be down to how generous the customer service folk are.

no because i dont have access to the bank statement, when you say proof of purchase do you mean proof i bought it in tesco or proof that i was the one who purchased it

you bank statement would just show like 10 pound purchase, i could go and buy something for 10 pounds now and say i bought that

Facepalm, I'm not sure why you're getting mad.

They can match the exact purchase of time along with the amount to anything on their system to prove that you actually made the purchase if they wanted to.
