Help!!! - Edexcel History Paper 2 (American West / Anglo Saxon and Norman England

Really struggling with this paper and I think I might flop it tomorrow :frown:
me too, i have an exam question I need help with:

Explain why Lanfranc made changes to the Church in
England.
You may use the following in your answer:
Corruption
The Pope
You must also use information of your own.
Lanfranc made changed to the church to concolidate Williams power and control
-write about cathedrals ect
-how he was Williams friend
Lanfranc made chanes to the church because William was a highly religious man
-write about how their was curroption (simony ect)
Lanfranc made changes to the church because the church was a highly powerful place
-write about how it was important to have the pope on their side ect

it would be a nice question however the bullet points through me off. Tbf you could make it more simple and say he made changes because simony ect occurred but idk if that's the same as saying its curropt

Surely that'll be a narrative question? I was thinking more California Gold Rush, Dawes Act (1887) for consequences?
