Pasteur was the guy who did the experiment with Germ Theory.
Flemming was the guy who found penecillin, but Florey and Chain went on to develop it.

basically it was terrible

How did you tackle the final question in the migration paper:

'Have economic resources been the main factor in the development of empires....?

Also, for the Norman England Paper, I'd like to know briefly what you wrote for the first Interpretation question about the Domesday Book and the second question which was: 'Explain what was important about the relationship between the Norman Kings and the Church'

Thanks

normans pevensey castle question was solid
how did you find it

EASY!
Talked about the original aim of Pevensey, Robert Of Mortain, Ship Tax, Marchlands, Salt marshes and the Seige (William Rufus)

THE PEVENSEY QUESTION MADE NO SENSE

The statement contradicted the positive qualities of the castle...

utter beauty of a question - the migration. I explained economic, war and ideas,, and how they were instrumental in the colonisation of America, India, China, Australia etc. Note the question did not specify British empire so you could say vikings. And ofc a judgement

In that exam I laughed after the papers were collected and we were being dismissed and the invigilator told me to stay behind. She warned me and said no action will be taken but still took down my candidate number. Why did she take it down? Is she lying? Am I in trouble? Im scared cuz that history paper went amazing for me

You could still talk about it as an opposition to the statement. You didn't have to agree ya know
