I went to the notary today to certify my ID, however she refused to fill the Certifier Checklist, stating that she could only fill documents in portuguese.
She did certify my ID, stamp the copy, signed it, and wrote another document with more details. The document states her name, signature, and the other required information in the Checklist, however it's all written in portuguese.
Is this a problem, or does the ID still count as certified?
Thanks in advance.

Hi there,

Although we can accept foreign documents, we may be unable to translate them. As such, we would suggest the documents provided are translated into English to prevent any delays as a result.

Thanks, Chanel
