Looking for a good backpack (university)

Looked at the Northface website I’m pretty sure that in my current situation £85 on a backpack won’t be a good idea.

Looking for:
Affordable
Waterproof
Looks good
And carries a laptop + general uni stuff
well youve come to the wrong place as this isnt a place youll find many backpacks Im afraid. A shop however would be a good start.
Not sure if this is the definition of good looking but I use it for university.

Looks really functional tbh I might just buy it and it’s half price

Anything from Nike, I got a Nike backpack for my birthday last year.
When I bought it, it was £22 and it was the best £22 I've ever spent. Honestly if I knew how good it was I would of paid £50 for it. I'm not trying to be a dodgy salesman but it's strong, can carry multiple textbooks with your laptop (back compartment is designed for 15.6" but you can carry a bigger one in the outside compartment) in it whilst being versatile enough to carry all sorts of other stuff in 3 pockets. It's also comfortable and water has never gone through it, surprisingly good material for the price. Yes I do actually own this bag and I don't work for them please see below for the proof.

I like Nike but I’m worried about waterproof. I had a Nike or Adidas I can’t remember in the past and it wasn’t that great with waterproofing.

JD and Nike websites don’t specify if the bags are waterproof

Mine seemed reasonably waterproof the last time we had heavy rain, the contents appeared nice and dry.

Go down to Decathlon and try some on. Their own brand stuff is usually a good compromise on cost and quality.

I would go for bape (if I actually had a job)
Don't go for the ugly cheap ass ones if you're going to use it for two years or more.

I have this one and it's honestly the best bag I've ever bought.
The back doesn't have those mesh finish so it doesn't ruin your clothes and it also has a really nice cusion.
I carry my Surface Pro and my iPad along with my notebooks and I have no problems fitting them all in, including my power bank and cables.
