Hey guys,

I've just received all of my module results for 3rd year at herts uni. Can anyone please calculate my overall degree based on the following info. I've already attempted to calculate my overall degree but I just want a second opinion on this even though I know this isn't guaranteed.
My uni's calculation system includes taking the best 6 modules (or 90 credits each weighed at 15) from 2nd and 3rd year.
On my uni's website it specifically says: To achieve an honours degree you need to have 360 credits.To calculate your Honour’s degree classification (from 2013/14 onwards), the Programme Board of Examiners will determine:
i) the average numeric grade of the best 90 credits at Level 6 or higher and
ii) the average numeric grade of the best remaining 90 credits at Level 5 or higher;
iii) a combined average numeric grade, weighted 75% (i) and 25% (ii);
the candidate’s Honours classification will be considered on the basis of this combined average numeric grade.

My 2nd year results (worth 25% of overall degree):
15 credits - 47
15 credits - 52
15 credits - 55
15 creds - 55
15 creds- 58
15 creds - 61

3rd year results (worth 75% of overall degree)
15 creds - 59
15 creds - 60
15 creds - 53
15 creds - 58
30 creds - 74 (double module)

Thank you

You have only listed 90 credits for each year so i am assuming that you have only listed your best 90 credits for each year but have got 360 credits overall

You average in 2nd year was 54.66 and average in 3rd year was 63 so you grade overall will be 60.9 which is a 2:1
