Like is that actually a thing? Mine only get brushed when I'm seeing someone I like or if I'm taking a selfie....

That's an absolute bare minimum for me when I'm on the move. I usually brush after I eat and can easily do it 5+ times a day.

Yes, it is an actual thing that millions do, you are at risk of plaque build-up on the teeth when you don't brush often. Not brushing enough could also lead to gum disease.
I normally brush before going to bed and one after breakfast.
Some people floss too, but Icba for that.

You should be brushing your teeth morning and evening... you're only excused if you're mentally or physically incapable - otherwise ew.
