IDK what to title this I GCSE english language problem

So in one of the paper 2 extracts there was a lot of quotations- it was an article on a hotel. I referred to these quotations from people describing the hotels amenities as anecdotes. Were these anecdotes/ if they weren't how badly will my mark be affected.
