Hi, I am currently thinking of taking a foundation year at Coventry University for Business, and I would like to know, how do grades in foundation years work? Is it the same as getting like a 1 or 2:1, 2:2? If I were to contact a new university to go into the first year would I have a grade from my foundation year?

Im in a similar position to you, the advice that I had received was to contact the universities you’d like to go to and see if they would accept you

I think they're graded as either a fail, pass, merit or distinction. I'm not certain though.
