I've heard that Birmingham, especially with it being a big law school, is likely to accept you if you miss your grades. However, as I understand it, this is mainly for those with Birmingham as their firm choice - they don't seem too keen on insurance offer holders. Still, this question is mainly directed at those already studying law at Birmingham or have knowledge of the situation: have you heard of cases where those who missed their grades but had Birmingham as an insurance choice still got accepted? Thanks in advance.

I personally haven't heard of any such cases, but I'm interested in case anyone has heard of some.

I would think they might be more generous - I've got Brum as my insurance with a 2.2 (!!) so I reckon they'd also be more willing to cast a blind eye if you didn't meet their A-level criteria.
