Hey guys. I'm 6 months away from turning 17 and I was wondering in England can you book your theory test 6 months before your 17th birthday?

Hey, I mean if you could probably get your provisional licence early on then there would be no problems. I heard somewhere that you could get you provisional licence maybe when your 16 or so. If you do have a provisional licence then I suggest you actually attempt it as it you could see straight away.

Although you can get your provisional before 17 you can only take the car theory test once that part of your license becomes valid. So on the day you become 17 you can book a theory test but not before. I’d suggest casually revising for it before and then booking it as soon as you hit 17 if you can’t wait
