Resitting a level maths Watch

I wanted to know if this will have an impact on my chances of going to a top uni. Initially, I got into LSE to do econ and I needed to get an A* in maths but after paper 2 I think I will get a C I would still like to go to a uni like LSE because my two other A level grades are likely to be A*s I wanted to know whether the top universities will turn me away because of my inability to achieve the grade the first time. I’m convinced in a year of just doing a level maths I can get an A* needed but I’m not sure whether the unis will make me an offer that would enable me go to these prestigious universities .
