Does anyone have a list of required practicals for aqa physics higher?
1 - Determining Specific Heat Capacity
2 - Investigating Thermal Insulators
3 - Investigating Resistance (of Wires and Resistors in Series and Parallel)
4 - Investigating Electrical Components (I-V Characteristics)
5 - Determining Density of Objects
6 - Investigating the Relationship Between Force Applied and Extension for a Spring (Hooke's Law)
7 - Investigating the Relationship Between Force and Acceleration (Newton's Second Law)
8 - Investigating Plane Waves in a Ripple Tank and Waves in a Solid (Measuring Frequency and Wavelength)
9 - Investigating the Reflection and Refraction of Light
10 - Investigating Infrared Radiation (how the Properties of a Surface affect its ability to Absorb and Emit Radiation)

The AQA Required Practical Handbook can be found here:
https://filestore.aqa.org.uk/resourc...CTICALS-HB.PDF
It gives some information regarding the practicals which you might find useful.

Other than that, it might be useful to look through last year's GCSE Papers for the practical questions to see what kind of question they might ask.
