Questions about student loans.

I have a few questions about student loans in England. If you know any good sources I can read please share them.

My questions:
1. How do I know if I am eligible for a loan?
2. How can I apply for a loan and who offers them?
3. What are your thoughts on student loans and when should they be taken?

Hi,

To see if you would be eligible for funding I've just got a few questions to ask;

1. Which university and course you are looking to start your studies with?
2. How old are you?
3. Your nationality, current status and time spent within the UK?
4. Any previous study and qualifications you may hold?

More information regarding Student Finance can be found here.

You can also watch guidance videos here.

Hello,

If you haven't lived in the UK then you'd need to apply as an EU student for tuition fees only. When are planning to start your course?

Thanks, Erin N.

Hi there,

As an EU student, you will only be able to get funding from Student Finance England if you are studying at an English university. If you are studying in Scotland, you would need to contact the Student Awards Agency for Scotland (SAAS) on their social media or on by calling 0300 555 0505.

If you do decide to study in England, you would need to complete this form - http://ow.ly/H9Os30oKqBu

Thanks, Ashley.
