Hmm. I was just watching the Portugal Vs. Turkey match with my family... and was laughing about something my brother said... I sort've fell over the couch laughing, and, he ended up laughing too. Thing is, he brought the full weight of his leg, back of heel first down on the side of my neck.

I THINK I blacked out. Can't really remember what happened in between me laughing, and mum standing over me panicking... and I feel sort've sick. The right side of my head/face/neck is throbbing too.

Any suggestions on what I should do? Bear with the pain?

If you can move your head in all directions like normal without pain I reckon it will all go away in an hour or two.

well if your head got jolted, and you think you blacked out for a short amount of time, then it might be concussion. but don't quote me on that. but if it's just throbbing where he hit you, and you dont feel any more sick than you do now, or you get dizzy, or it starts to hurt more, or, i don't know, all over, i'd get it checked out.
but like i say, someone with more experience than me might be able to tell you differently. hope it stops hurting soon!

I'd be careful, because it might be a mild concussion. If you still have a headache and feel sick it might well be.
Try and have someone watching you for as much as possible, and if it doesn't go away then I'd probably get it checked.
But obviously I'm not a doctor and this is just what I remember from a long ago first aid course, so I might well be overreacting.
    Hope you feel better.

I'm a med student, so I can give you a course of action that you should follow 100% every time you black out, to check that you are OK:

Go see a doc and stop hoping that randoms on the internet have any idea whats wrong with you.

If your mum was so worried she'd have taken you to a & e..
