I work in Coral's as a manager assistant and get around £6.85 when im managing. I think it's a really good job for students as when your are back in uni they will transfer you to your uni town and give you a 6hr contract or something like that.

The job is pretty easy once you get used to the bets, and can be really boring at night racing so you can just watch tv or revise etc, well I do. I do a lot of shouting and arguing in my shop because most of our customers are horrible but I love the shouting part!!

I'd say apply to the big three bookies (ladbrokes, hills or corals) as there as a better chance of getting a postion, the best part of the job is the tips and of course telling people that they are barred, I do love the power!

    Good luck
