:train2: Hello and welcome to rate your train station! :awesome:
:train:
Most people have been to a train station at some point, so let's see which of our country's railway stations score the best! :ninja:

You don't have to rate a train station near you if you don't want to reveal your location: just a train station you've visited.

Post below with the following details...

Station Name:
Number of platforms:
Physical Appearance: /10
Cleanliness: /10
Location: /10
Facilities: /10
Staff: /10

Overall Score: /50

Feel free to also include a picture of the station to justify your physical appearance rating. :yep:

For those who haven't worked it out, the /50 score is adding up all the others.

I'll be rating train stations I've been to around the country, feel free to do this on your travels too. :ahee:

Station Name: London Liverpool Street
Number of platforms: 18
Physical Appearance: 6/10
Cleanliness: 8/10
Location: 10/10
Facilities: 8/10
Staff: 8/10

Overall Score: 42/50

LST has been my London Terminal since birth now, been using it as a kid, teenager, and now I use it to get into work every single day. Looks a bit drab because of the constant building work, but it ain't too bad.

Plenty of Tube lines going through it, and the staff at the Underground station are always pleasant.

Easy walk to work from the station, completely covered through to Broadgate

Station Name: London Waterloo (yeah the biggest one in the country XD)
Number of platforms: 24
Physical Appearance: 6/10
Cleanliness: 5/10
Location: 10/10
Facilities: 9/10 (like a shopping centre tbf)
Staff: 6/10

Overall score: 41/50

Only ever use it for the tube really as most of the trains just go out to the South East. It's ****ing huge and always too busy, got a McDonalds and Burger King though, and is right next to South Bank. 10min walk away from my house so not to bad.

Number of platforms: 12
Physical Appearance: 5/10
Cleanliness: 6/10
Location: 7/10
Facilities: 8/10
Staff: 9/10

Overall Score: 35/50

Old industrial town with a railway station to match the booming steel industry of centuries past. Crewe has no need for 12 platforms anymore but it's excellent for changing connections. :yep: Watch out for a few last minute platform changes though. :afraid:

Operated by: Virgin.

Main station I use at the moment to get to places that aren't Southampton or Winchester :borat:
It's ok I guess - right by a bus stop and not a long walk from places like West Quay or IKEA :mmm:
Some of the staff give me funny looks :erm: but maybe that's just because they've never seen a free VegetableTM take the train + style before :smug:
also the lift does strange things sometimes
strange .... things....

It's a decent station but more so one you just get to for train changes. Unfortunately the toilets aren't very nice or well located, and platforms are very open/cold unless you're on the middle platform and can go inside.

Station Name: Halifax (West Yorks)
Number of platforms: 2
Physical Appearance: 9/10 - It is a traditional old station that has amazing architecture, however, it does need a bit of re-painting
Cleanliness: 8/10 - generally very good, however the toilet isn't always the cleanest
Location: 10/10 - located just a 2 min walk from the famous Piece Hall, in the center of the town
Facilities: 7/10 - only 1 toilet and isn't always the cleanest, but there is a lovely cafe!
Staff: 7/10 - generally very positive, happy people however, they did deny one of my 5ps once when I was buying a ticket (apparently an Isle of Man 5p is different to an english one)
