Hi everyone,

I've got a BA in English Language and Literature and I'm trying to figure out my options now that I've graduated. I want to do a masters that could provide me with a job other than teaching English (which I am currently doing) and I was thingking of either this Msc Information Technology https://www.gla.ac.uk/postgraduate/t...ology/#tab=why
or this Msc Speech and Language Processing https://www.ed.ac.uk/studying/postgr...on=2019&id=290.
Is there any alumni that could help me with the career prospects of these masters? Or anyone that could tell me if it's a good idea to go for these programmes? Any suggestions would really help. Thanks a lot in advance.

Moved to Postgraduate Applications forum.

Maybe think about why you're attracted to those particular masters courses. What do you personally intend to do with them?

I intend to expand the range of jobs I could opt for. I just want to combine my first degree with more practical knowledge that is on demand on the job market now.

which job in tech do you want?

that will influence your degree choice.

speech and language processing degree isn't really useful outside of research or data science jobs imo
