Hi:

If I quit my current university and course, and start a new degree in another one. Would I still be able to get student loans and stuff for all 3 yrs of that new degree at new uni?

I know it seems like a lot of hassle, but I really hate my situation right now and wish I'd had a better first year than this miserable sodding one.

Having finally sorted out my finance this is the situation:

The LEA only gave me only a maintainance loan at first (for two further years and no tuition fee loan or grant) because they thought I had already had two years of financial support.

However once they realised I only had one year of financial support I was entitled to the full financial package and for three years.

So it depends how many years of financial support you have used, if one year then you should be entitled to everything. But if you have been assessed and claimed for a second year then I doubt you will recieve more then a maintanance loan.
