I've just finished my GCSE's (predicted a 7 in maths) and I start a level in september. I'm aiming to get an A* at a level. What are the most important subjects I should revise over the summer?

I've just finished a level maths, and trust me it's one hell of a ride but it's worth the effort... Some of the GCSE and a level overlaps so it's really good to be secure on these topics...
- completing the square with coefficients of X greater than 1
- graphs skills and straight lines
- general algebra and laws of indices
- inequalities
- circles

The big thing with a level maths is the year 1 content allows you to access the year 2 course so you're constantly having to work hard.

Hope this doesn't put you off a level and good luck!

By the way buy all of the official Edexcel textbooks... These are pretty good to guide you through the course and they give you loads of revision questions to do during the course.
