Your best best is a walk-in sesh at a GUM clinic. They've seen it all before and you don't need to be embarrassed.

I believe you can buy sti tests in pharmacies but they're only for certain diseases whereas one from a doctor or nurse would cover everything and be free.

In certain areas though, GUM clinics are nowhere to be seen. So surely they'll allow you to have a test from your local GP?

Some GPs will be able to do STI screens. Call them up and ask, they would have to book out a double slot usually so they can talk to you and do the tests with enough time. Some surgeries will be able to offer you whatever gender doctor you want, some might not have a male/female doc working there.

If female and asymptomatic some GUM clinics will let you swab yourself.

If male and asymptomatic you can usually do a urine test and don't need swabs.

Boots run a chlamydia urine testing program where you can leave a urine sample and have test results texted to you in a few days. Of course they aren't able to test for everything.
