Okay ppl, I am about to finish my igcses by tomorrow and for me igcse bio exam was like okay so I was wondering if I can handle bio in alevels and if it's really helpful for future careers. I am taking physics, chemistry and maths in alevels and I am wondering if I should take biology.
Any helpful piece of information or advice would be really appreciated

I’m just about to finish my first year of A level biology and I absolutely loved it this year! It’s definitely a lot harder than gcse as there’s soooooo much more content, but if you’re good at handling your workload then I definitely recommend!!

Ask me again on the 15th August

No, honestly I'd say it's quite easy, especially if you've done a GCSE in it. I didn't, and learnt the whole A-level in about six months, and I think I did fairly decently at the exam.

Same here, and I didn't particularly enjoy biology GCSE but now it is my favourite subject. The content is pretty easy to learn if you revise it constantly throughout the year - by the time I got to my mocks I had finished my notes and all I did was practice papers for a couple of weeks beforehand. If you're going to take other sciences it links in really well with them too, which is the reason I took it in the first place.

Biology is easier than physics, maths and chemistry. I personally wouldn't do all four but if you're confident then you can. Biology's just a lot of memorizing.
