A guy manipulated me into sending nudes Watch

So around the age of 17 a guy started talking to me I found him really cute but I started to think he was a catfish (which he was, as he using a public figures pictures), but I ignored my gut feeling and carried on dming him on Instagram and eventually we called each other and obviously now I know he would change his voice as recently he would call me on no caller id and he'd put on an accent (I've changed my number)

But the thing is one day he told me that he had cancer and the only way the doctor told him to get rid of it was to masturbate and obviously now I know he was manipulating me and of course it ridiculous and stupid but I sent him nudes with my face in it and I was still underage at the time and he was either 18 or over.

Last night he made a whole account just to dm me my nudes and i reported and blocked him. I've never met this guy before but I feel one day he could post my pictures online because it's been a while and he's still trying to contact me on my social media.

I know its my fault which I accept but do you guys have any advice on what I should do?

Report the accounts to the police. Revenge porn is a crime, especially so when it's pictures of someone underage.

Alright thank you but I don’t want my parents to find out or be involved so is there anyway for them to not find out?

"I started to think he was a catfish (which he was, as he using a public figures picture)"

So at what point, when you started receiving photos of Boris Johnson, did you suspect that he might be a catfish?:bird:

Try to look at this episode as one big joke. Something to laugh about down the pub with your friends. Don't take it too seriously.

So what if your parents find out?
You sent him photos. You didn't have sex with him. So no harm done.
You should tell your parents about this. Especially if you are over 18 now.
If your parents love you less because you sent a few pictures of your beautiful natural body to someone, then the problem would be with them, not you. You can't be responsible for other people's problems.

What's done is done. You've learnt your lesson and won't be doing it again in a hurry.

And as has already been quite rightly pointed out, revenge porn is a crime. And quite right too. It's a nasty invasive thing to do. And a breach of implied trust.

I appreciate your reply but My parents are asian and strict af so I can never casually tell them about this but I don’t want to let him feel like he has power over me because he has my nudes 😔 I really just don’t know what to do

The race and culture of your parents is immaterial.

No reasonable parent expects perfection from their children.

If you are 18 now, you would be morally, legally and ethically entitled to send nude pictures of yourself to anyone that requested them.
Any parent that would think less of you as a person because of 1 simple mistake is being intolerant.
That is their issue not yours.
Your parents should at least respect you for having the bravery and honesty to come clean about this.
The mark of someone is how they deal with things when they've made an error. Deal with it well and people's opinions of you tend to go up.
Think of it as it like you being a shop that has sold something that is faulty. The way the shop deals with the fault defines whether you'd shop there again or not.

If you're over 18 there's no real reason for them to get involved. You could keep them out of it. But it wouldn't be easy

You said you have Asian parents- that's how it's going to end if they find out.
Considering your 18 it'll be okay for you in a way because they don't have to know.

Her parents are going to find out soon. Plus Asian parents dont care if you are 18 if you are still living under their roof then you have to follow their rules and they can beat you up unless the OP moves out. Its the only way
Yes which is why I don’t want to tell the police until I’ve left the house completely

Yes I know
In the short term, reporting and blocking any accounts he makes is the best thing to do.
Depending how precious you are about the accounts you currently have, consider making new ones instead.

Sounds like you've ticked everything off except the police angle...*

Next time he gets in touch you could threaten him with the police?

*...short of getting some guys to go sort him out... (Kidding)
