Aberdeen Uni Self catering Accommodation

Hi there, I'm a soon to be graduate who is starting medicine in Sept at Aberdeen. Due to financial restrictions I'm probably going to be in self catering and have a few questions if anyone knows anything about the flats there...

1) how many toilets/showers are in each flat?

2) are the kitchens/living rooms quite big for 6 people?

3) do many 20+yr old students stay in this type of accommodation?

4) are they quite social?

5) are they reasonable quiet? (suppose it depends on who you live with!)

if anyone has answers to any of the questions that would be awesome!

Guessing that you mean the cheap SC, like Hector Boece, or Keith House or something?

1) how many toilets/showers are in each flat?
2 toilets, 1 shower

2) are the kitchens/living rooms quite big for 6 people?
No living rooms, small kitchen

3) do many 20+yr old students stay in this type of accommodation?
Some. Bound to be different every year though.

4) are they quite social?
As above. Will depend entirely on your flat too.

5) are they reasonable quiet? (suppose it depends on who you live with!)
Doesn't really matter if they are quiet, the rest of Hillhead will keep you awake :wink:

I hated self catered. Loved catered though. No shopping, putting shopping past, cooking, cleaning up afterwards...

From HH to campus/the library is 5-10 mins on the number 20 (every 15 minutes), or about 10-15 minutes walk.

The bedrooms in Self Catered are pretty tiny too.
