So in my GCSE's I got - one 8, seven 6's, two 5's and two B's but at A-level, i'm roughly predicted A*AA (potentially higher) in Classical Civilisation, History and English Literature (the A* being in Class Civ)

I'm hoping to apply for Classics at either Oxford or Cambridge but i'm unsure on if my GCSE's will prevent me from getting in.
Do you think there is any chance of me getting into Oxbridge with these predicted grades?

Oxford require Latin or Greek at 'A' level. Cambridge doesn't appear to. If you meet their entry requirements, apply.

You don't need Latin or Greek A level for either Cambridge or Oxford, however, you will take a slightly different course (initially) to people who do have A levels in one or both of these subjects.

Oxford tends to look more at your GCSE grades than Cambridge, who focus more on your UMS. Although your GCSE grades may not be at the top of the range, it depends on your school; if your grades are high for your school and not many people make it to Oxbridge, you might still be considered by the Universities.
