You shouldn't restrict yourself to a single revision method and find what works for you. Some people like flashcards, mindmaps (blurting knowledge out on A3 paper), using the A3 clock mindmap, friends/parents/teachers etc. to test them on knowledge. Is there anything you're struggling with in history?
