Hi, I’m a 17 year old girl who loves to read on holiday, I read like 4 books per holiday and I’m really into the sad/lovey books like “five feet apart” or authors such as Jenifer Niven or Holly Bourne.

Does anyone have any suggestions on what I could read next??

Thanks <33

How to make friends with the dark by Kathleen Glasgow
Everything everything and the sun is also a star by Nicola Yoon
Frankly in love by David Yoon
The art of losing by Lizzy Mason
I believe in a thing called love by Maurene Goo
Eleanor and Park by Rainbow Rowell

While most of these books may not fit your tragic-love preference, they are still pretty amazing summer reads. I hope you try at least one and see how it goes.

Call Me By Your Name is known to be a bit of a heart breaker! The Sundance film adaptation was beautiful and I enjoyed the book very much also. Would definitely recommend.

I strongly recommend the A-level textbooks (especially if you're doing A-level Maths -- I used Edexcel). The summer is a really great time to hit the ground running when it comes to term-time!

Oooh there are so many amazing books coming out this summer! And ones already out. Definitely check out Red, White and Royal Blue by Casey McQuiston, ALL Sarah Dessen books and Morgan Matson books! Umm, A Court of Thorns and Roses series by Sarah J Maas! The Raven Cycle by Maggie Stiefvater. The Cruel Prince by Holly Black. (some of these are fantasy!)
There's also The Flat Share by Beth O'Leary. Call It What You Want by Brigid Kemmerer. If you're into poetry books, there's Lost and Found by Sumaiya Ahmed which is quite sad and only on Amazon though.
Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell. You Against Me by Jenny Downham. Hush Hush series by Becca Fitzpatrick. Fake It Till You Make It by Jenny Nguyen. Love, Hate and Other Filters by Samira Ahmed which is so cute. Oooh and When Dimple Met Rishi by Sandhya Menon

Sarah Dessen is my favourite author!! Used to read her all the time especially in my young teens. Definitely check out her books, sounds like they would be right up your street! My favourite is ‘Just Listen’ & ‘That Summer’
