I think a lot of people probably share that one! Being alone or feeling lonely are difficult emotions to have, and perhaps at some point in our lives we have all felt that. Reaching out to people around you can help, sometimes just having a conversation with people or letting them know how you feel can be a big weight off of your mind.

My looks. In the past few months I've had "ew look at her" comments from people (usually college students on the public bus) with one saying he wanted to go on the lower deck because he couldn't stand my ugly face. I was bullied at school for being ugly. Yet I've also had a lot of people say I'm pretty. I've refused to meet up with people from dating sites because although they like my pictures (I don't overdo makeup and never use filters or photoshop) I think "omg they'll think differently in real life"

Whatever your insecurities are, most of you are young and your age is your biggest asset.

Good luck feeling comfortable with yourself.

Financial.

I can't learn what I want to learn, because I can't afford to, I can't do most of other things I'd like to, because I can't afford them.
I can't start my own family, because I wouldn't be able to afford a mortgage, In fact I have not even dated anyone for years, only because I know I have nothing to offer. I can barely support myself, for anyone else I would be just a burden.

Never think that you have nothing to offer a partner.
Your personality and personal choices define who your are- not your bank balance or whether you have a mortgage.
It will be your personality that people will be drawn to and a partner will love.
There is no burden in that.

Don't let your financial position to decimate your self esteem or crush your hopes.
I'm working three jobs, living on less than £30 a week after rent&bills and have almost £20k of credit card debt.
I live alone in London and understand the cost of living issues along with the financial constraints that come with them.
But a positive attitude and state of mind goes a very long way.
