Hi. I have submitted my EpQ proposal on how AI systems can affect the access of women to legal professions. I was not accepted. Before complaining do you know whether the college can apply selection criteria of any kind? Thank you Chiara

You need to ask them.
Tbh it sounds like a poor subject to choose as female access to the legal profession is not a known problem imo. The ratio of M to F was about 50% if not even higher in favour of females.

Dont know your proposal but it doesnt sound v interesting.

What was the basis of the proposal and what degree subject are you expecting to do?

I would expect a properly researched proposal that showed where it met the EPQ criteria i.e markscheme and what they were looking for.

At an initial stage the proposal concerns an area of interest and a focus issue, which - in my case - is law and the future of legal professions and specifically how AI systems can affect the access of women to legal professions. I do not see the link between your statistics and being interesting. However, I guess my teachers are likely to have thought the same!!
