What is the normal age of a freshman at Cambridge University?

Is 22 or 23 too old as a freshman at Cambridge University?

Cambridge has 3 mature only undergraduate colleges (for students 21 or over) - Wolfson College, St Edmund's College, and Hughes Hall, so those colleges will only have mature undergraduates and postgraduate students. There are likely mature students at other colleges as well, in lower numbers.

Outside of undergraduates, there are an enormous number of postgrads at Cambridge so there are plenty of older students in that regard as well.

I'd note there is no "too old" for any university in the UK, if for no other reason than because it's illegal for universities to discriminate against applicants on the basis of age.

How on earth could you tell? It's the adult world at Uni, no-one cares about age and a couple of years is utterly irrelevant either way.
