Opening a student bank account - will I recieve a new card?
I applied to upgrade my HSBC current account to a student account recently. I thought I'd be using the same debit card but for some reason I've recieved a text saying a replacement debit card is arriving. Have I done something wrong? Will my old card stop working?

yes seems its a new card so your current one might stop working soon.

I'd be surprised if the card number changed, but you may find the expiry date and CVV2 will have.
