I'm looking to going to Leeds University to study New Media in 2009.
I'm just wondering if this degree is well known amongst multimedia companies?
What exactly does the course involve? What kind of things do you do? Is it interesting/fun? Are you glad you've chosen the course?
I'd like to also go into 3D images and animation aswell. Would this course also enable me to do that?

    Cheers. :]

Well I don't do the course myself but if you haven't already looked at it, there is a great webpage here

It gives a detailed outlook at each module you do - If you click on the module code to the left of the module title, highlighted in blue, it will take you to a page which gives more detail on each specific module

And at a quick glance, in both years 1 and 2 there's a compulsory module called "Animation for New Media" which looks like it would be of interest to you :p: (Remember that there is a chance the module syllabus could change before you intend to study in '09 )
