Hello,

I'm currently in the process of transferring to the 2nd year of the BSc Biomedical course at Aston University. I was just wondering if anyone could tell me what the uni and also what the course is like? Also, I'm interested in applying for the IBMS portfolio year and was wondering if anyone knows what that year is like and also is it difficult in getting a placement?

Just did first year mech eng at Aston. The uni is pretty good for its ranking and everything is very close together so you won't struggle to find where you're going. And the accommodation is so close on campus that you can see the main building across the street plus accepts second years. As for biomedical I'm afraid I couldn't tell you but it is well reputed for its placements. They have lots of options. Hope this helps.
